Mogami Gold Studio XLR 15' doesn't worth CAD97

First of all, this star-quad cable has a protective outer casing PVC of 6mm; therefore, this cable is too stiff for live performances.
Secondly, the construction of the cable is one way single spiral cooper shielding. That means, it is easily damaged when it is bent.
Lastly, Telefunken star-quad STMC 16' is far more musical than Mogami Gold Studio. Read more

It Does Not Worth That Much

The cable is too stiff for handheld microphone. The high end is too bright and EQ is required to bring it down.

There is a difference

Well I broke down and tried some Mogami cable. I recorded with my new Mogami and compared it with Pro co chord and there was a difference in sound quality. Cheaper cable sounds thinner, and you loose on the highs and lows that a Mogami Gold will not. Now on screen you didn't see much difference, but listening too the difference was clear. Read more
