Best piece of studio gear in 20 years!
I have used several room correction systems including Anthem ARC, Dirac Live, and SonarWorks (older version). They all have their merits, but the Trinnov room correction is VERY different. Quite remarkable. Astounding how it snaps the image into focus, with the phase correction obviously working magic far beyond simply putting a custom EQ on things. Read more
Integrating a subwoofer was so easy. Despite the inherent sophistication, measurement are dead simple and fast with the 4 capsule 3D mic.
I demoed an ST2, but settled on the D-Mon as I wanted the enhanced IO functionality and it also has a better software interface for control. It can switch between different monitor sets with and without sub with ease. I am not using the surround functionality, though it is there. There is a bit of a learning curve with setup, but once that has been conquered the day to day is dead simple and reliable. Easily the best addition to my studio arsenal in 20 years.
