The TASCAM VS-R265 is a robust, standalone 4K/UHD hardware encoder and decoder, purpose-built for professional AV over IP applications requiring reliable, high-quality live video streaming. Designed for corporate, educational, house of worship, and government environments, the VS-R265 offers full 4K (3840x2160p) video support with simultaneous recording, encoding, streaming, and decoding-without the need for an external computer. Equipped with HDMI input/output, balanced and unbalanced audio connections, and compatibility with major streaming protocols (RTMP, RTSP, HLS, RTP), the VS-R265 can simultaneously stream to up to eight destinations-including three RTMP streams for multi-platform broadcasting. It features front-panel SD and USB recording slots, 17GB of internal storage, MP4 recording format support, and automatic FTP upload for backup and distribution.
