Best plosive screen I've used so far. The tapered design of the openings really does deflect air downward, and away from the mic capsule. I use this for commercial voice-over with a sensitive large-diaphragm condenser mic, and most of the time I need to work the mic closely, in which case mic placement and mic technique is not enough on its own.
Read more The screen does not alter the sound of my voice at all, like some of the ones made out of denser materials, or even the stretched nylon types. A big bonus is that this screen is about the right size, large enough to work, but not too large to get in the way of reading my copy, and that also means no annoying frame around the edge like the other types, which always interferes with my vision.
