Turn your MixPre-3 into a compact, all-in-one music recorder with the Musician Plugin. Designed for songwriters and performers, it brings essential DAW-style features into a portable recorder, making it easy to capture ideas and build full songs anywhere inspiration strikes.

With the plugin enabled, the MixPre-3 supports up to 12 total tracks, recording three at once, and offers tools like overdubbing, track bouncing, and punch in/out for layered recording. Creative options include Reverb and Vocal Air effects, plus a built-in metronome to keep performances tight. Flexible input-to-track routing minimizes repatching, while faders give you hands-on control over panning, solos, mutes, and effects. Finished projects can be rendered/exported directly or multichannel WAVs can be imported from a DAW as backing tracks.
