The Sonifex AVN-DIO12 is a dual microphone input to Dante converter, designed to integrate two balanced analog XLR microphone inputs directly into a Dante Audio-over-IP network. Each input offers adjustable coarse and fine gain controls, allowing for precise amplification settings tailored to various microphone sensitivities. A high-pass filter can be engaged to attenuate frequencies below 125Hz, effectively reducing unwanted low-frequency noise. For condenser microphones, 48V phantom power is available and can be activated individually for each input. Tri-color LED indicators provide real-time visual feedback on audio levels, assisting in optimal gain staging. The unit connects to the network via a Neutrik etherCON connector and is powered through Power over Ethernet (PoE), streamlining installation by combining data and power delivery.
