MK 8

No matter which mixing desk or recording device is used, the MK 8 matches the input sensitivity by a 3-step attenuator (off, -10dB, -20dB). Two adjustable filters can compensate for the proximity effect as well as low frequency rumbling or structure born noise.

The MK 8 has one-inch diaphragms precisely spattered with 24-carat gold. Its capsule is elastically mounted to reduce structure-borne noise. The front end electronics of the microphone is uniquely sheltered within the microphone capsule which makes the MK 8 extraordinary immune against humidity and structure borne noise. The capsule is accommodated within a sturdy metal housing.
