Schertler DYN-B-P48
Very good sounding pickup. I have been using it in combination with my piezo system from Barbera Transducer Systems (http://www.barberatransducers.com/Acoustic_Upright_Bass_Pickups.html). I thought about the Schertler by itself, but the Barbera delivers more fundamental, deeper sound. Lire plus
The Schertler is a bit thinner sounding, but the could also just be my placement of it on my bass. Together, through a Acoustic Image Coda (https://www.acousticimg.com/#/product/coda) they sound divine. The Schertler delivers more upper register clarity like a condenser mic and mixed together the two pickups make my bass just sound its natural woody self. Great pickup. Easier to deal with than a microphone because it does not seem to feed back very easily.
