The myMix RX-2 is a 1U rack-mountable, remote-controlled networked mixer designed to integrate seamlessly into the myMix personal monitoring system. It enables users to select up to 16 audio channels from the network and create a customized stereo mix, with control over volume, pan, tone, and stereo effects for each channel. This functionality is managed via the myMix Control web browser interface, providing intuitive and flexible operation.
Constructed with a solid metal housing, the RX-2 ensures durability for both studio and live environments. It features two balanced line-level XLR outputs, delivering high-quality, low-latency audio over IP through standard CAT5 cabling. The myMix network can handle up to 500 audio channels, allowing for extensive scalability. The RX-2 is particularly useful for routing mixes created on myMix devices to different locations, such as sending a musician's on-stage stereo mix to a wireless in-ear monitor system, with the option to incorporate additional channels like talkback or intercom.
