After watching a you tube video I decided to build some bi wire speaker cables for myself. I had never heard of mogami until 2 days before I ordered this material. I orginally wanted the 3104 because of the gauge of the individual wires but they were out.
Read moreI went ahead and built the cables out of the 2972. When I swapped out my old wires for the new cable I was blown away how good it sounded. More depth in the bottom end. It softened the tweeter and really brought out the mid range. It was a night and say difference. I am curious to see how much better the 3104 sounds. I was able to build myself a very nice set of cables for about $180 all in with banana plugs, heat shrink, cable and cable sheathing. It would cost me about $1000 to buy something equivalent. Needless to say I am very happy. The service at studio economik is excellent and quick. I will buy from them again.
