stopped my brother from throwing away a few hundred dollars when I saw him ordering a pair of "audiophile grade XLR interconnects" from some wishy-washy website. For a fraction of the cost I made 2x20ft cables with Neutrik XLR connectors. The star-quad configuration of the W2534 uses a flexible plastic dielectric which helps it maintain flexibility, but enough rigidity to protect its internal structure when being handled and coiled.

I told my bro I could "fancy" them up with some techflex sleeving or paracord and/or even replace the connectors with those wierd Neutrik XLRs with imbedded Swarovski crystals...PS: why in the world would Neutrik even have such a product is beyond me. But hey, maybe there is a market for that sort of thing.. ie: other self-identifying "audiophiles" that also happen to have an audio engineer sibling ¯?\?_?(???)?_?/?¯
