After almost twenty years of using Apogee Ensemble (firewire and, later, thunderbolt), I recently upgraded to the Metric Halo. So far, it is everything that I could hope for. It was very easy to set up and routing audio with the MIO 3d application to Logic Pro was very straightforward. Lire plus
The converters are a clear upgrade from my former Ensemble (Thunderbolt). I'm very happy that I made the switch.
Kevin at Studio Economik was incredibly helpful in providing advice on what would be needed to hook everything together and the ordering process and shipping was really efficient. Five stars for Studio Economik, as well!
