The K-Tek Mighty Boom Hodges Counterweight Half is a bottom attachment for Mighty Boom Poles to reduce booming fatigue caused by the downward force of a microphone and shockmount. The Counterweight also increases maneuverability of a heavy boom set-up and reduces stress on the boompole operator.
Weighing in at 1.1 lbs. (500 g) and made of solid heavy metal with a foam covering, the Mighty Boom Hodges Counterweight Half is designed specifically for use with K-Tek Mighty Boom Poles.
The Mighty Boom Hodges Counterweight effectively balances and reduces the downward force of a microphone and shockmount to minimize handling fatigue. For large payloads at the tip of the Mighty Boom Pole, multiple Counterweights can be stacked.
Finely machined, solid heavy metal, foam covered and made in the USA, the Mighty Boom Hodges Counterweights are designed for the Mighty Boom Poles only.
