All-analogue Air with relay-controlled circuitry is the engineer?s secret weapon. It captures transients on drums, makes vocals shine, and ensures a precise, clear recording. When Air is engaged the Clarett+ OctoPre switches impedance to 2.2k? and adds two cumulative high shelves, totalling a 4dB boost in the high frequencies, which recreates the sound of the classic Focusrite ISA 110.
TRACK THROUGH YOUR FAVOURITE OUTBOARD
Clarett+ OctoPre?s eight dedicated channel inserts allow you to easily add analogue equipment to the signal path. Our flexible insert design reduces the need for a patchbay as inserts are switchable - so you spend less time reaching around the rear of the unit. Leave your outboard plugged in and simply press the button to bypass it.
