It features an 8-inch 'W' composite sandwich cone woofer, a 5-inch midrange driver with TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) suspension, and a 1.5-inch Beryllium inverted dome tweeter. This configuration provides a wide frequency response from 35Hz to 40kHz, ensuring precise and transparent sound reproduction across the spectrum.
A standout feature of the Trio6 is its dual Focus mode, allowing the monitor to switch between three distinct configurations: a standard 3-way mode, a 2-way mode utilizing only the midrange driver and tweeter, and a 1-way full-range mode employing just the midrange driver. This flexibility enables audio professionals to assess how mixes will translate across different playback systems, enhancing the versatility of the monitoring process.
The monitor's design includes a rotatable baffle, facilitating both horizontal and vertical setups to accommodate various studio layouts.
