Outstanding High-Precision Sound
Austrian Audio Hi-X20 headphones are characterized by their crystal clear, detailed, and natural sound.
One important measure of audio clarity and precision is Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), which assesses the amount of unwanted harmonic distortion that a sound-reproduction system creates in an audio signal
passing through it.
THD is typically measured at 1 kHz, where the Hi-X20 scores a sensational value of <0.1%. But when measured at lower frequencies " for example, around the 60 Hz thrust of the bass drum " the Hi-X20 headphones are even more impressive, scoring THD values up to 3 times better than several competing products from similar or even considerably more expensive price ranges.
Hi-X Driver Technology

All Austrian Audio Hi-X headphones feature a 44 mm driver and a ring magnet system. This design allows for improved airflow and includes the strongest magnetic field in its class.
The ring magnet, combined with a copper-clad aluminum voice coil, reduces the weight of the membrane and the voice coil connected to it, allowing the membrane to move or change direction faster, and providing
a more responsive impulse reaction.
Recording, Mixing and mastering with the Hi-X20 headphones is an absolute pleasure. Expect great bass imaging and low THD (total harmonic distortion) at low frequencies, together with a linear frequency response and open, precise high-resolution sound that is very revealing and makes error detection easy.
