QuickLok quick release, includes 2 x QRTT threaded tips, Purple Finish
The body of the QUICKLOK mounts onto the 3/8" thread of a microphone boom or stand and is secured in place via a grub screw. The tip fits into the mic support and can be tightened securely using a screwdriver or similar through a cross-hole.
The ingenious mechanism has self-locking and self-locating action with a tapered design to provide a rigid, absolutely rattle-free connection.
This universal piece will find its place for quick disassembly of rigs, microphones, antennas, and more - not only on location, but also in music recording studios.

great accessory in an awesome colour!
These are so handy, and seem to be a bit smaller than the Rycote ones... These feature a "twist" mechanism, although I think a "pull down" mechanism would be easier to use sometimes seeing that the boom sometimes twist along with the QRT if not tightly held.
