The Zaxcom Nova2 with built-in VTX VHF Transmitter is a compact, all-in-one audio system designed for professionals who need a streamlined solution for location sound. This version integrates a 2.4 GHz ZaxNet transmitter, allowing it to send IFB audio, timecode, and remote control signals directly to compatible Zaxcom transmitters and receivers. By combining mixing, recording, wireless control, and monitoring functions into one unit, it reduces the need for additional gear and simplifies bag setups, especially for fast-paced or space-limited productions.

The VTX transmitter supports adjustable output power, encryption, and remote control features such as gain adjustment, frequency selection, and transport commands. These capabilities allow sound mixers to make live adjustments without physically accessing the transmitters. Track names and metadata can also be pushed wirelessly to transmitters, keeping files well organized from capture through post. With its seamless integration of wireless functions, the Nova2 offers an efficient workflow that supports reliability, flexibility, and clear communication on set.
