The DirectOut EXBOX.SG is a high-performance SoundGrid-to-MADI converter engineered for low-latency, high-channel-count audio integration in professional live and broadcast environments. Supporting up to 128 audio channels at 48 kHz (or 64 channels at 96 kHz), it provides seamless conversion between Waves SoundGrid networks and MADI systems via three versatile MADI ports-Optical SC, Coaxial BNC, and an SFP slot for custom configuration. This compact 1/3-rack unit is purpose-built for demanding applications, including OB vans and stage setups, where space, stability, and flexibility are key.

With four Gigabit network ports, including one PoE-enabled, the EXBOX.SG eliminates the need for additional switches and allows direct connection to plugin servers and redundant recorders. Dual redundant power supply options (2x external + PoE), along with informative front-panel LEDs for system status and sync, ensure reliable operation in mission-critical environments. Fully controllable via SoundGrid's control panel or DirectOut's globcon software, the EXBOX.SG is a rugged and agile solution for modern audio routing and system integration.
