Pairing its vintage-accurate capsule with a transformerless, fully discrete FET circuit, the WA-87jr offers ultra-low self-noise (9dBA) and clean, polished sound for any application. With three selectable polar patterns (cardioid, omni, figure-8), a -10 dB pad for high-volume sources, and an 80 Hz high-pass filter for reducing low-frequency rumble, this mic is as versatile as it is sonically refined.
