Our AirHead is a passive attenuator plug for all types of microphones. Whether capturing booming drums or roaring guitar amps, AirHead's variable attenuation prevents clipping, ensuring pristine recordings. Your signal can be continuously attenuated by -6dB to -18dB.
AirHead is an excellent match with our Kompressor when recording really load sources.
In addition, by attenuating your signal, you can crank your favorite preamp without overloading. This way your preamp can operate in a higher gain range, so the sonic character of your preamp is more emphasized.
