M2-R functionality can be added to any conventional stand or boom using the industry standard 5/8-inch thread.
MICRO Orbital Adapters are miniature versions of ORBIT Orbital Booms, exhibiting the same enhanced range of motion, thanks to the unique ball swivel mechanism. Using MICRO Adapters in conjunction with ORBIT Booms exponentially increases the accuracy and versatility of any stand.
Conventional stands can benefit from TRIAD-ORBIT quick-change innovation with the addition of MICRO and iO Retrofit Components. Retrofitting conventional stands and boom arms with MICRO-R and iO-R aftermarket components provides an instant upgrade in functionality.

Wish there was more stars to give
I cannot say enough! This thing makes life so much easier. Every aspect of this product oozes quality - even just opening the box I had a good feeling. Just started using it about a month now so I can't say how it holds up over time, but as of right now I am blown away with the quality, the feel, how it makes life so much easier and setting up is so much faster.
