The NoiseAssist Plugin for the Sound Devices Scorpio delivers advanced real-time noise suppression with the flexibility of 4 available instances. These can be applied across any combination of isolated channels or mix buses (excluding channels 17"32), allowing you to clean up multiple sources at once.

With 1 ms latency, NoiseAssist instantly suppresses background sounds like traffic, generators, or HVAC while preserving the natural tone and full frequency range of speech. Designed for demanding film, television, and broadcast production, it ensures dialog remains clear and professional even in noisy environments.

Provides real-time background noise suppression for professional dialog and location recording.

Includes 4 instances, which can be applied to any combination of isolated channels (except channels 17"32) or buses.

Each instance can run independently, giving flexibility for multi-mic setups, stereo buses, or a mix of both.

Reduces steady noises like HVAC, traffic, and generators while keeping voices natural.

Operates with only 1 ms latency, ensuring audio stays in sync with picture.

Automatically adapts to changing noise environments in 5"10 seconds.

Suppression amount adjustable between 1 dB and 20 dB (default 6 dB).

Supports workflows where you record raw ISOs alongside NoiseAssist-processed ISOs or mixes.

Works seamlessly with MixAssist or Dugan Automixer for managing multiple open microphones.

Can be combined with EQ and low-cut filters for further control.

Requires Scorpio firmware v7.20 or higher.

Device-specific license, non-transferable to other 8-Series units.

Installed and activated through the Sound Devices plugin store using an SD card.
