The NoiseAssist Plugin for the Sound Devices Scorpio adds powerful real-time noise suppression to your workflow. With 2 available instances, you can apply NoiseAssist to any combination of isolated channels or mix buses, instantly cleaning up background sounds such as HVAC, traffic, or generators.

Operating with just 1 ms of latency, NoiseAssist continuously monitors and suppresses unwanted noise without requiring a "learning" phase. Optimized for professional film, television, and broadcast dialog, it preserves the full frequency bandwidth and natural tone of voices while reducing distractions in fast-paced or uncontrolled environments.

Includes 2 instances, which can be applied to any two isolated channels (except channels 17"32) or to buses.

Reduces noise while keeping speech natural, optimized for professional film and television dialog.

Works with just 1 ms latency, ensuring recordings remain in sync and transparent.

Automatic adaptation to changing noise conditions within 5"10 seconds - no manual "learning" required.

Adjustable suppression from 1 dB to 20 dB (default set at 6 dB).

Flexible routing allows recording both raw and NoiseAssist-processed tracks for post-production flexibility.

Can be used alongside automixers like MixAssist or Dugan for managing multi-microphone setups.

Compatible with EQ and low-cut filters for additional sound shaping.

Requires firmware v7.20 or higher on Scorpio.

License locked to the device, not transferable between units.

Activated via the Sound Devices plugin store by downloading the license to an SD card.
