Description

The +2 Plugin expands the MixPre-3 II from a 3-channel/5-track recorder into a 5-channel/7-track recorder, giving you more flexibility without adding extra hardware. With two additional ISO channels (4 and 5), you can bring in audio from Aux 1, Aux 2, USB 1, or USB 2 inputs, record them independently, and mix them seamlessly alongside channels 1"3.

Each added channel includes full control-solo, mute, arm, gain, fader, pan, and low-cut filtering-ensuring consistent workflow integration. If you have MixAssist or NoiseAssist plugins, these can also be applied to the new channels for intelligent noise reduction and automixing. ISO tracks 4 and 5 can even be remixed using the Remix feature after recording, and they're fully accessible in the Wingman app or via compatible USB controllers.

Adds channels 4 and 5, sourced from Aux 1, Aux 2, USB 1, or USB 2 inputs.

Extra channels can be recorded as ISOs and mixed with channels 1"3 into the main mix.

Both added channels include solo, mute, arm, gain, fader, pan, and low-cut controls.

Supports MixAssist and NoiseAssist processing (if installed).

Extra ISO tracks (4 and 5) can be remixed later using the Remix feature.

Channels are fully accessible via the Wingman app and supported USB controllers.

Provides greater flexibility for mixing USB or Aux input sources without additional hardware.

Not available when using the Musician Plugin or Reporter Plugin.

Activated by downloading the license from the Sound Devices plugin store and loading via SD card.
