Description

The NoiseAssist Plugin equips the MixPre-3 II with advanced, real-time noise suppression, helping you achieve clean, professional audio in demanding environments. With two available instances, you can apply NoiseAssist to two channels, two mix buses (L and R), or a combination of one channel and one bus, giving you flexible noise reduction across your workflow.

NoiseAssist continuously reduces unwanted background sounds such as HVAC hum, traffic, or crowd noise while preserving the natural tone and intelligibility of speech. Processing occurs in real time with only 1 ms latency, making it perfect for live broadcasts, streaming, or fast-turnaround productions. Suppression can be fine-tuned from 1"20 dB (default 6 dB) to suit any recording situation.

Device-locked license (not transferable between MixPres).

Activated by downloading the license from the Sound Devices plugin store and loading via SD card.

Installation Process

Download via computer at: store.sounddevices.com/device-features

Transfer the .LIC file to your MixPre-3 II via SD card and activate from the menu
