The Ambisonics Plugin unlocks advanced 360 audio recording, playback, and monitoring for the Sound Devices MixPre-10 II. Designed for immersive audio creators, it transforms your MixPre into a powerful ambisonic recorder with full support for both A-Format and B-Format (FuMa and AmbiX) workflows.

Whether paired with the Sennheiser AMBEO VR Mic or other ambisonic microphones, the plugin enables real-time A-to-B format conversion, binaural monitoring through headphones, and simultaneous recording of ambisonic, stereo, and binaural WAV files. With up to 192 kHz / 24-bit resolution, the MixPre-10 II delivers pristine audio capture for VR, AR, film, and spatial sound design.

For fast, intuitive operation, the plugin includes automatic 4-channel gain linking for single-knob control and supports multiple mic orientations (Up, Down, Endfire). This ensures seamless setup whether recording on location, in studio, or for interactive immersive media.
