Description

The Astral Opto (ST Connectors) is a powerful I/O expansion unit for the Astral ARX32, designed to meet the needs of large-scale productions that demand more connectivity. By adding native Optocore audio I/O with ST fiber connectors, it enables seamless integration into Optocore networks, allowing the ARX32 to connect directly to DiGiCo mixing consoles without external converters.

In addition to Optocore connectivity, the Astral Opto enhances system reliability and flexibility with a fully redundant AC mains supply, plus expanded I/O options. These include a second set of analog and AES outputs, GPIO connectors, and two additional MADI outputs with their own sync input, making it an indispensable tool for high-end broadcast and live sound environments.
