The NoiseAssist plugin for the Sound Devices 888 provides 2 real-time instances of advanced background noise suppression, ideal for productions where clean dialog is critical. Each instance can be applied to an isolated input channel, a bus, or a mix of both, giving mixers flexibility to address noise exactly where it's needed.
NoiseAssist uses proprietary multi-band frequency and statistical processing to intelligently separate speech from steady background noise such as HVAC, traffic, or crowd ambiance. With ultra-low 1 ms latency, it preserves the full frequency bandwidth and natural tone of the source while delivering transparent suppression.
Adjustable from 1"20 dB of noise reduction, NoiseAssist helps streamline fast-turnaround productions, live streaming, on-set monitoring, and IFB feeds by delivering broadcast-ready sound directly on location.
