At its core, the Equinox features two Golden Age microphone preamplifiers, known for their rich tonal characteristics and flexibility. These preamps offer 60 dB of gain, with gold-plated stepped attenuators, phantom power, and switchable output transformers"providing a choice between Steel, Nickel, and Iron transformers for a range of sonic textures from tight and punchy to warm and smooth. The 30-channel summing section is designed to provide analog warmth and depth to your digital mixes, utilizing premium components for passive summing. The master section of the Equinox includes a comprehensive monitoring setup with multiple input sources, speaker outputs, and control options, ensuring precise and reliable monitoring throughout the recording and mixing process.
