Description

The DYN HP P48 is an electrodynamic, active, fully balanced contact microphone for Hand Pan and similar instruments. The set includes a padded case and special adhesive mastic.

The DYN HP P48 contact microphone for handpans is meticulously designed for professional applications, delivering exceptional sound quality, whether in live performance, amplified or studio environments. The design stems from a collaboration with the band Hang Massive.
With its rugged construction and active filter specially modified to enhance the characteristics of the instrument, this high-end transducer reproduces the natural sound of the instrument to perfection.

The DYN HP P48 can be quickly transferred between instruments during performances or recording sessions. Once in place, its lightweight design makes it unobtrusive for the musician.

A balanced XLR connector enables direct connection to a microphone input on a mixing console, or a full range amplification system. (Note: these contact microphones require 22-48V phantom power, with the exception of the passive DYN UNI.) The torsion-resistant, Kevlar-reinforced cable is designed to withstand the rigors of daily use while delivering best possible performance results.

SCHERTLER DYN P48 series microphones all feature built-in Class-A preamps and advanced filtering technology that enables each microphone to capture the best tonal qualities of the intended instrument.
