Designed by five-time Grammy award-winning engineer/producer and iconic studio owner/designer Allen Sides, the S12A MkIII's design allows it to be equally at home supplementing bass frequencies for musical applications as it is representing everything from dialog to explosions in commercial theater, small cinema, and home entertainment systems.
The S12A MkIII features selectable RCA and XLR analog inputs for flexible installations, and also offers a variety of parameter adjustments including gain, LF adjust, adjustable crossover, and delay so that it can be perfectly integrated into any audio environment. It also includes a 12V trigger input/output for power conservation and other applications. The S12A MkIII's impressive 700W amplifier is more than enough to deliver a gut-shaking 114dB SPL, and multiple S12A MkII subwoofers can be combined in a larger system such as a cinema screen channel.
