Description

The Korg Modwave MKII is a powerful wavetable synthesizer that builds upon the legacy of Korg's DW-8000, offering musicians a modern instrument capable of producing unique and customizable sounds. With an impressive 60 voices of polyphony"nearly double that of the original Modwave"it provides a rich and expansive sonic palette. The Modwave MKII features deep wavetable oscillators, a variety of filters, and flexible modulation options, all accessible through an intuitive, hands-on interface. This design allows for the creation of distinctive timbres, from aggressive basses and leads to lush ambient pads, adding new dimensions to your music.

In addition to its robust synthesis capabilities, the Modwave MKII introduces innovative tools like Kaoss Physics and Motion Sequencing 2.0. Kaoss Physics combines an X/Y Kaoss pad with modulatable game physics, offering a responsive and interactive control experience. Motion Sequencing 2.0 brings the evolving patterns of the Wavestate's Wave Sequencing into the realm of motion sequencing, enabling the creation of complex and evolving phrases that go beyond traditional step sequencers. The synthesizer also supports user sample loading and wavetable imports, providing extensive opportunities for sound exploration and customization.
