Air Motion Transformer
Handmade in Berlin using high quality components, the HEDD Air Motion Transformer puts HEDD's expertise at your disposal to deliver impeccable transient response and ultra-high frequency extension. As a result, high frequencies remain transparent and linear and do not distort natural sound reproduction in any way.
Lineariser
HEDD Lineariser is an optional function that eliminates speaker-related time delays improving transient response and imaging precision. The phase correction can be synched with our BASS subwoofer range to compensate for group delay in a sat-sub system.
CoP: Closed or Ported
Emerging from extensive research into the HEDD Tower Mains System, the Closed or Ported functionality allows all HEDD MK2 monitors to switch between two designs with the flip of a switch and the use of a plug.
While Ported (open), the monitors can deliver the voluminous bass response with impressive sound extension you'd expect. Seal the bass ports with the plug and experience a new level of bass precision, texture details, and low-end harmonics.

Exceptional sound
After using them for a couple of months, I can safely say they are the best monitors I've owned so far. Precision and coherence are the two words that come to mind to describe how they sound. They maintain clarity and transparency across the frequency range and provide a well balanced listening experience.

Surprised at how good these monitors are!!!
I was given some great advice and reassured that these were a solid product by Louis a staff member at Studio Ekonomik.This particular gentleman has yet to steer me wrong!
Set up in my mix room was quick and easy as I have spent some time and effort to acoustically treat the room and sort out most of the issues and know what the remaining problems are.

These Hedd monitors are delivering details in my mixes and reference tracks I had been unable to hear on my previous monitors systems. The detail in the depth and width of a mix is really very good!
Translation out of my mix room has improved to the point that I no longer worry about checking on other systems when it sounds proper on these it is! I still rely on my mix cubes a bit for critical mid range work because I am very familiar with them and they have a tendency to highlight the ugly that is not so easy for me to hear.
All in all after living with these Hedd speakers for a few weeks I am very happy with the results I am getting that seemed impossible before I purchased these incredible little boxes!
