RedNet 5 connects your RedNet system to Pro Tools HD. Up to six units can be connected to one Pro Tools HDX system, supporting up to 192 channels @ 96 kHz or 96 channels @ 192 kHz.
Pro Tools HD Native and Pro Toos HD (TDM) are also supported. RedNet 5 is interoperable with other Pro Tools interfaces and no RedNet PCIe card is required.
What is RedNet
RedNet is Focusrite's flagship range of modular Ethernet-networked audio interfaces that harnesses the power of Audinate's tried and tested Dante digital audio networking system to bring studio quality sound to any modern audio application. Fundamentally RedNet is an extremely scalable, near zero latency audio distribution system that can be used to expand I/O channel count, interface digital components, and/or bridge between Pro Tools|HD or MADI and the Dante audio network.
Upgrade to RedNet interfaces while remaining fully compatible with your saved sessionsEach RedNet 5 can route up to 32 input and 32 output channels between your RedNet network and Pro Tools HD systemConnecting six RedNet 5 units to a Pro Tools HDX system allows up to 192 inputs and outputs - the maximum supported by Pro Tools HDX.Maintain your existing Pro Tools workflow with simple, logical assignment of RedNet I/O to Pro Tools HD inputs and outputsCompatible with with Pro Tools HD TDM systems

Front Panel Indicators
Power [PSU A]
Green LED. Illuminates when an AC input is applied and all DC outputs are present
PSU B HD32R only
Green LED. Illuminates when an AC input is applied and all DC outputs are present
Network Connected [Primary]
Green LED. Indicates that a network connection is present [on Primary port when in Redundant mode. When in Switched mode, a valid network connection at either Primaryor Secondary network port will cause this LED to illuminate]
Secondary Network HD32R only
Green LED. Indicates that a network connection is present on secondary port when in redundant mode. Not used in switched mode
Network Locked
Green LED. When unit is network slave, shows valid network lock. When network master, shows unit is locked to indicated clock source. Flashing indicates external clock is selected but not connected
Sample Rate:
Orange LED for each: 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, x2, x4
Pull Up/Down:
Orange LED. Indicates unit is set to operate on a Dante pull up/down domain
Signal Indicators
RedNet 5: 16 Tricolour LEDs, 8 input/8 output indicators. Green Illuminates @ -42dBFS, Amber -6dBFS, Red 0 dBFS.HD32R: 16 Green LEDs, 8 input/8 output indicators. Illuminate @ -126dBFS.
