The dbx CT-3 is a powerful and flexible cable testing solution designed for professionals who need to diagnose and validate a wide variety of cables with precision. Its two-part Sender and Receiver design makes it especially effective for testing preinstalled or long cable runs, whether in studio, live, or installation settings.

This unit supports up to 8-pin cables and includes connectors for RJ45, RJ11, MIDI, DMX, Speaker Twist, XLR, RCA, BNC, DIN, TRS/TS, Banana, and 1/8" (3.5mm) jacks, making it one of the most comprehensive testers available. The CT-3 also features a built-in test tone generator and banana continuity tester with LED and audio cues for clear diagnostic feedback. With its rugged construction, intuitive interface, and versatile connector compatibility, the CT-3 ensures accurate and efficient cable troubleshooting in any environment.
