The Cranborne Audio N22 is a compact and efficient solution for high-quality audio distribution, replacing four balanced XLR cables with a single shielded Cat 5e, Cat 6, or Cat 7 cable over distances of up to 100m (330ft). Utilizing C.A.S.T. (Cat 5 Analogue Signal Transport) technology, the N22 allows seamless transmission of balanced analogue audio between studios, live rooms, and performance spaces with minimal cable clutter. Fully passive and requiring no external power, it ensures pristine signal integrity with low-crosstalk and no high-end roll-off. The N22 also supports phantom power transmission, making it ideal for condenser microphones and DI boxes when integrated with Cranborne Audio interfaces like the 500R8, 500ADAT, and Camden EC2.

For those needing high-quality headphone distribution, the N22H builds on the N22's capabilities by incorporating a reference-grade headphone amplifier with ultra-low distortion and a flat frequency response from 0.8Hz to 250kHz. This ensures transparent, high-powered monitoring for musicians during tracking and engineers during mixing and mastering. The N22H can be powered via a 9V DC adapter or a 9V battery, providing up to 10 hours of operation in mobile or power-limited setups. Whether for studio expansion, stage wiring simplification, or deploying headphone amplification where it's needed, the N22 and N22H offer an intelligent, high-fidelity analogue signal distribution solution.
