ASP800 provides 8 channels of Audient's renowned console mic preamps, class-leading Burr-Brown converter technology, two JFET D.I's and two Retro channels with revolutionary tone control. Developed by design legend David Dearden and optimized over 18 years, our mic pre is used by thousands of professional studios around the world. With its versatile nature and smooth tone, the ASP800 will quickly become your 'go to' mic pre and creative tone shaping tool.As well as offering you 8 channels of mic pre, ASP800 has two harmonically rich JFET D.I inputs. Designed to replicate the input stage of a classic valve amplifier, you can plug your guitar, bass, keyboard or drum machine and start recording instantly. If you're recording drums or simply need more channels, ASP800 is the perfect tool for expanding your existing interface via ADAT. ÇA VAUT L'ACHAT!

Très utiles en tracking pour les batteries ou groupes d'instruments ( ex.: violon-alto-violoncelle-contrebasse, synthés)
les transfos des 2 premiers canaux donnent de la couleur et de la saturation. et les convertisseurs donnent un excellent rendu.Un Read more

Pour le prix, difficile d'avoir mieux!

convertisseurs hors-paire, transformateurs IRON des 2 premiers préamps donnent un son avec plus de punch, et 8 soties ADAT en lightpipe, difficile de demander mieux; merci Kevin!

Great Unit

Excellent unit, you will not find better for the price. The preamp's are clean and crisp, not a lot of colour or drive or any of that sweet transformer stuff, but it does have a couple of knobs in the first two channels that enables you to get a bit of colour out of it. Read more
